An attractively bound and fine copy of the rare first editon of a compilation of Crescentiis' work with that of Estienne & Liebault and Jacques du Fouilloux, a work with splendid woodcuts. "Kompilation aus Crescenzi, den 'Siben Bücher von dem Feldbau' von Estienne und Liébault, Strassburg 1579, sowie dem 'New Jag und Weydwerck Buch' (des J. Du Fouilloux) von 1582" (Nissen). Deals with farming and gardening, animal husbandry, wine growing, fishing, bee-keeping and hunting. The fine woodcuts are by Christoph Maurer and Tobias Stimmer and depict besides botanical subjects, hunting and agricultural scenes. The work is composed as follows: 1. Vom Ackerbaw; 2.
